
Okay so I have to admit that I nearly cried when I heard MJ's daughter Paris Michael Katherine say a couple words about her late father. It was probably the most touching moment of the whole ceremony. Witnessing his daugheter express true emotion finally allows you to realize that this infact, is real. Of course, millions of fans may cry or mourn. But when his actual loving children, biological or not, breakdown and say "I miss you", reality strikes. My heart goes out to her and the rest of his family. Michael Jackson's sudden death is not only a tragedy to his immediate family, IT'S A WORLD TRAGEDY. He affected the lives of so many people, giving excitement, entertainment, and hope through his music and performances. I was watching a documentary about him the other day where he quoted the great artist Michael Angelo, and now, the same quote applies to him and his legacy. Something along the lines of...
"The creator may go, but his creations live on."
That is so true. Rest In Peace Michael Jackson. You may be physically gone, but your spirit through the countless hit singles and dance moves are legendary. And Legends never die.
